Camilla Francini (1998) is an artist and director working between Padua and Venice. Since 2019 she has collaborated in the making of several short and medium-length films covering the role of assistant director and set designer. She is currently enrolled at the IUAV University of Venice in Visual Arts and Fashion. In 2024 she directed and produced her debut short film I Papaveri sono Alti Alti Alti. He recently founded and curated NUSCA Festival together with Giulia Fegez and Aurora Gerini.

Also, she is been selected for the artistic residency MAC - Studi d'Artista 2024-2025 (6th edition) and she is attendig the Cross-Border Film School in Film Direction.

Her research centers around corporeality-as a vehicle or alternative to the verb and as a political agent in relation to the surrounding space. Her attraction to the unspoken and the use or non-use of voice has led her to intertwine her research with writings of feminisms and transfeminisms texts; investigating how the archive can be a tool for reflection and a critical lens for rereading the present.
